Almondsbury Primary School is situated in a most pleasant setting. The oldest part opened in 1894 and is now a listed building, and there are two newer sections. We have extensive grounds including two playgrounds and a large field, where we have installed a lovely gazebo.
The children are extremely talented and well behaved, excelling in sport and music. Our Healthy School ethos transcends the whole school and our kitchen offers a great selection of meals. The staff have high expectations of the children, who enjoy coming to school to learn and develop. The staff work collaboratively to ensure the children gain the best opportunities and experiences to ensure quality learning occurs.
We have a very strong Parents Association who work tirelessly to raise funds for school and support school developments.

Christ the King School is a small school of approximately 200 pupils welcoming both Catholic and non-Catholic children. Our school has a ‘family community’ feel to it and has a distinctive Catholic identity. We offer all pupils a broad and balanced curriculum which enables them to develop their full potential within a supportive Christian environment. We have high expectations of our pupils and encourage them to become independent, self-motivated learners who make a difference.
After School Club: From Monday to Friday Christ the King runs its own After School Club. The Club is open to all and runs 3.30–6 pm (Monday to Thursday) and 3.30-5pm on Fridays.
Breakfast Club: From Monday to Friday Christ the King runs its own Breakfast Club, which runs 7.30-8.45am and we then take the children safely to their own class and hand them over to their teacher.
