What the Job Entails...
The position is permanent and part time. Tours run over two weekends per month; there are 2 tours on Saturday afternoons and 2 on Sunday afternoons. This amounts to 24 hours per month split over the two weekends.
• Opening and Locking up the premises
• Setting up for the tour including conducting appropriate health and safety checks
• Greeting visitors and serving them with Gin and Tonic
• Showing visitors around the distillery and sharing the story of our history and products
• Engaging with visitors in an interesting and informative way
• Managing the distillery shop and sales to visitors
• Clearing up after the tour
• Maintaining records
Up to £20 per hour (gross) and bolstered with a regular supply of 6 O’clock Gin!
