10am: Thornbury Town Council Mundy Playing Fields Consultation
Thornbury Town Hall
Over the past few months, Thornbury Town Council has been working in partnership with Mei Loci Landscape Architects to develop a design strategy for Mundy Playing Field.
This important community space is well-loved and widely used and the aim is to ensure it remains safe, accessible, and welcoming for generations to come, whilst embracing opportunities to naturalise the landscape around the Poulterbrook Stream.
As part of this engagement, a public consultation will be held during Thornbury Pride where the Council will
have a stall and gazebo outside the Town Hall between 10-2pm on 6th June 2026.
These consultations provide valuable opportunities for residents to share their views and ideas directly with the project team. Attendees... Read more >>
10am: Free Dr Bike health checks at Love Thornbury Pride
Thornbury High Street
10am-5pm
Free bike safety checks and minor repairs carried out by an experienced bike mechanic.
Give your bike some love! The bike mechanic will carry out free minor repairs such as repairing punctures, adjusting brakes and gears, fitting brake blocks and replacing cables. Dr Bike can also provide advice on potential problems and general cycle maintenance.
The mechanic will be situated directly outside Thornbury Town Hall on Thornbury High Street as part of Love Thornbury Pride on Saturday 6 June. Please book a slot below to guarantee availability.
Please do not book more than two time slots. This means that more people will be able to benefit from the Dr Bike sessions.
