10am: Love Thornbury: VE Day Celebration - 80th Anniversary
Thornbury High Street

10am-5pm on Thornbury High Street

Bring your friends and family to our 80th anniversary of VE Day celebration, in partnership with the Royal British Legion. Watch as we light a beacon as a sign of peace, which will be designed by a local artist and lit at 9.30pm.

As usual, we’ll have entertainment, food, local craft stalls and much more.

How can you help run future events like this? If you are a local business, a charity or a school or nursery, you may wish to have a stall. Or you can volunteer to help the day run smoothly.

Please click below to contact us - we would love to hear from you!

If you fancy helping behind the scenes we would be so appreciative of support with paperwork, organizing and planning.

We'd also love to find a general handyman who loves to work outside.

You may wish to have a stall selling local crafts or food stuffs, run activities for kids or have a stall to promote your group or charity.
