NASA is working towards sending humans to Mars in the next decade. This will be a huge engineering feat.
Launch and getting to Mars - You will explore how to get to Mars and land your spacecraft. Did you know there is a helicopter on Mars? We will investigate how difficult this is and think about blade designs just like a NASA engineer.
How would you land on Mars? In this workshop, we will look at different technologies that engineers and astronauts will need to use to take off and safely land. You can design and build your own lander, and there will be plenty of opportunities for experimentation.
You can book for the morning, afternoon or both sessions.
Age group: 5 - 16 years
