Friends of Filnore Woods Work Morning

We will meet as usual near the tool store by the main wood entrance that's over the field from the Leisure Centre car park corner.
Work mornings are usually from 10am till 12pm on the second Sunday and fourth Wednesday of every month.
Our next work party will be on Wednesday 28th January.
We can continue the work started last time when we began to open up an area of scrub and small trees alongside the path between posts 13 and 14 that runs past the Sort-it centre. Later on when the water level in the stream has reduced, we intend to use some of the wood we've removed to repair and bolster up the leaky dams we constructed last year across the stream in the valley.
The current weather forecast for the next few days is for rain, but hopefully it won't be too wet and we will be able to do something.
