4pm: 6 Week Study Course - CreatureKind
St Mary's Church, Thornbury

This Lent Revd Joy will be holding a 6 week study course: CreatureKind. The course explores the place of animals in Christian Faith and practice. Looking at biblical perspectives on animals and the way other Christian thinkers considered them. Also looking at how animals are treated today and what it might mean to put Christian belief about animals into practice.

All sessions will be held at St Mary’s Church at 4pm on the following Saturdays.

1. 28th Feb - Introduction: What’s Christianity got to do with animals?
2. 7th March: Why did God make animals?
3. 14th March: What does our faith in Jesus mean for animals?
(Break for Easter)
4. 18th April: Will animals go to heaven?
5. 25th April: What are we doing to animals?
