The Bristol Ensemble: Classical Masterpieces by Candlelight

Musicians from The Bristol Ensemble return to Thornbury on Saturday 25th October with ”Classical Masterpieces by Candlelight”, presented by Thornbury's Action Arts group.
Roger Huckle, violinist, leads the Ensemble musicians in a programme of enchanting movements by Mozart, Chopin and Shostakovich.
• Mozart Marriage of Figaro Overture – brilliant and energetic
• Chopin Piano Concerto No.2 – lyrical, elegant orchestration
• Mozart Piano Concerto No.21 in Cmajor – emotional depth
• Shostakovich Gadfly Suite – lyrical, sweeping melodies.

Roger Huckle set up the musicians’ collective in 1994. This prestigious orchestra performs classical, popular, jazz and contemporary concerts around the country. Their performances are stunning, uplifting and not to be missed.
