Ghoul School is an interactive, self-led audio extravaganza that will teach your young thrill seekers all they need to know to become perfect little monsters. Along the way, they will encounter a spooky array of teachers who’ll impart their delights, frights and vampire bites.

7.30pm: Nosferatu with music by Minima
Turnberrie's Community Centre, Thornbury

A superbly sinister evening to prepare you for Halloween!

Minima is a Bristol-based four-piece group, with instrumentation including cello, double bass, baritone guitar, acoustic and electric guitars, mandolin, autoharp, dulcimer, synthesizer, glockenspiel and drum kit. 

Their main repertoire includes set scores to classic silent movies: the original Phantom of the Opera featuring Lon Chaney, Alfred Hitchcock’s The Lodger, and German horror films Nosferatu and The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari.

The AAG has booked them to perform their score for Nosferatu - a 1922 silent German Expressionist horror film, directed by F. W. Murnau and starring Max Schreck as Count Orlok, a vampire who preys on the wife (Greta Schröder) of his estate agent... Read more >>

4pm: Fireworks 2022 – Tribute to the Queens
Almondsbury Creative


Join us on Friday 4th November for a fireworks display like no other!

With it being Jubilee Year, we’ve decided to theme this year on The Queen and also Queen the band!

Gates open at 4pm and expect an action packed night from the off. Walkabout entertainers, stage shows, funfair, food stalls, Craft Stalls and of course lots of music & drinks.

Fireworks will go off around 7.30pm and will choreographed to some of Queen’s greatest hits. Immediately after, Real Magic – A tribute to Queen take to the stage.

5.30pm: Thornbury Round Table Fireworks
Mundy Playing Fields

Thornbury Round Table are pleased to organise another year's firework display for the local community and raise money for local charities and good causes.

Gates open at 5.30pm and the kids' display starts at 6.30pm.

The bonfire will be lit from 7pm, and the main display starts at 7.30pm.
