Autumn Feast and Forage
Tortworth Arboretum
10am-3pm
Spend a relaxing day in the woods enjoying good food and company around the fire.
We will spend some time talking about foraging and more historical methods of cooking and food production, then concentrating on the more easily identifiable and readily available plants we will collect some out in the woods before returning to the round house to create a fresh lunch cooked over the fire.
Expect to make things with berries and nuts that are available, along with autumn roots and herbal tonics. And to spend some time looking at natural products that will help get through those dark winter months. (Please note this workshop will not look at fungus or mushroom identification)
