Autumn Years Respite Day Centres run every Friday from the 26 May from 10am to 2pm with lunch included.
The new Respite Day Centre offers a safe and compassionate environment where people can enjoy good company and participate in fun activities with lots of laughter along the way.
Autumn Years Director Victoria Irish says: “Our respite centres are a haven for anyone living with dementia or living in isolation. They are a place where someone can enjoy a stimulating and fun filled time while their loved ones take a much needed break.”
The Respite Centres run every week throughout the year and activities are designed around each individual’s interests and capabilities to ensure that they make the most of every minute.
Victoria continues: “We are very aware of the impact that loneliness can have on a persons health, so our focus will always be on helping our clients to improve their physical and mental wellbeing, reduce their anxiety and stress levels and maintain their independence and quality of life.”
