Elite Fitness Gym are looking for volunteer marshals for a charity sponsored walk!
Date: Sat 23rd March
Time: From 7:30pm
Location: Meet in the St Mary Centre and be stationed around Thornbury
Elite Fitness are supporting local charity JIGSAW Thornbury with their sponsored walk to raise vital funds for children and young people with additional needs or disabilities, and their families.
The whole community is invited to walk alongside parents and carers who receive support from JIGSAW on Saturday 23rd March. The evening starts with a personal trainer led warm up from 7.30pm, with walking groups setting off from 8pm.
The JIGSAW Jaunt is taking place to mark the end of the charity’s 10th birthday year and is an opportunity to raise essential funds and awareness for their cause.
Marshals will be stationed around the route in Thornbury to point people in the right direction and keep walkers motivated. You will be need to be available from 7:30pm and ideally stay until all walkers have finished, which should be around 11pm, however you might still be able to help if you can cover just some of this time. This is a great opportunity to meet new people and do something fun.
