Old Down Country Park has so much to offer for all the family, open seven days a week, come and experience it all in our open air setting full of nature. Situated on the outskirts of Bristol, we are set in the stunning countryside with 66 acres of open space featuring beautiful gardens, woodlands, play areas and an animal park.
Let the kids run wild in the adventure play area, equipped with jumping pillow, zip wire and climbing tower or pull up a deckchair and watch the younger children play in the toddler area packed with Little Tykes cars, small slides and see-saws.
We have a huge range of animals we’d love for you all to meet. Find out more about some of our animals during animal encounters taking place daily at 11am and 2pm including guinea pigs, rabbits and piglets.
After a busy day in the park visit our onsite Café offering various delicious deli options including sandwiches, salads, pasties and homemade cakes, as well as hot and cold beverages. Our farm shop is full of locally sourced products from independent businesses, along with seasonal produce grown on the estate by our talented gardeners.
