St Mary's Church, Thornbury
This month the Thornbury Clarinet Choir will be performing. The choir has run since 2013 and its aim is to explore the wide variety of music available to clarinet choirs. The Choir has a range of clarinets from the small Eb to the very big contrabass clarinet.
Sunday afternoon concerts take place on the third Sunday in the month at 4.00pm and last approximately an hour. Light refreshments follow.
The performers are drawn from the local area and there are singers, instrumentalists, choirs and instrumental ensembles – something to suit all tastes.
Admission is free, but there is a retiring collection, with all profits going to the Music Fund of St. Mary’s Church.
