JIGSAW Community Dog Show

Join in with our community dog show being held to raise money for JIGSAW Thornbury, returning for a 3rd year by popular demand!
There will be something for every dog and human, from best condition to best dressed and even a game of musical sits! Each competition entry ticket, for dog and handler, will be £3 or alternatively you can purchase 3 tickets for £8, if you wish to enter multiple events.
We will be holding two young handler competitions for JIGSAW Thornbury members up to the age of 25. These will be quieter sessions with only 6 dogs per group and only open to families who are members of JIGSAW Thornbury. During each round, young handlers will be asked to walk their dog round the event ring on their lead, ask their dog to sit, and then perform a trick of their choice.
The rounds will start at 10:30am and 10.40am. Please pre-book to avoid disappointment on the day and only book one slot per young person and dog duo to allow others to join in.
The winner from each round will be invited to take place in the JIGSAW Best in Show round at 10.50am where our very own therapy dog Albus will be awarding the grand prize.
From 12pm until 12.30pm, you are also invited to our 'Bring your Own Picnic' get-together which will be held in our Dog Show Arena.
Members are also welcome to join in with other sessions running between 11am - 1.20pm, which will be open to the whole community with up to 15 dogs competing in each group. Spaces for these events will be sold on the day only.
From 1.20pm, our Dog Show will conclude with a celebration of our day, a colouring competition and the eagerly anticipated raffle. The event will close at 2pm.
Families without dogs are welcome to come and watch the show! We will have a fundraising stall and a cake stall at the event and would love for you to come and say hello!
