Lest We Forget

The Armstrong, Thornbury

Sunday 8th November 2026 | 12pm–3pm

Join us after the Remembrance Parade and church service for a special afternoon of remembrance, reflection and community.

Enjoy a relaxed finger buffet lunch with friends, family and members of the local community.

Tickets are £12 per person, including lunch, or if you wish to just pop in for a drink - this is fine too at no charge (donations welcome on the day).

The bar will be open to all, providing an opportunity to stay, socialise and share time together following the morning’s commemorations.

Throughout the afternoon, Cossham Hall will be open, featuring a small exhibition kindly provided by Thornbury Museum, remembering local heroes and their stories.

We will also be joined by local poet Julie Wiltshire, who will share poetry inspired by remembrance and reflection.

All ages and everyone is welcome. Including colouring for the children!

Come along, take a moment to remember those who gave their lives, and spend time together as a community.
