Friends of Filnore Woods Work Morning

We will meet as usual near the tool store by the main wood entrance that's over the field from the Leisure Centre car park corner.
Work mornings are usually from 10am till 12pm on the second Sunday and fourth Wednesday of every month.
At the last two work parties we have been opening up an area of scrub and small trees alongside the path near post 13, opposite the Sort It centre. Last time we made a path through to the Jubilee Way so this time we can finish off by using some of the material we harvested to build a dead hedge alongside the main path to get rid of unwanted brash and define an entrance to this new area.
After that we may start to move the harvested wood intended for refurbishment of the leaky dams to a more suitable storage site.
