Action Arts Group: Nostos Trio Concert

Action Arts Group's February’s event is another chance to see pianist Khrystyna Mykailichenko performing in concert with the Nostos Trio.
Formed in 2025, The Nostos Trio unites three young dynamic musicians, Monty Guo, violin, Khrystyna Mikhailichenko, piano and Jae Min Kim Kang, cello. They represent Australia, Ukraine and Spain/South Korea respectively.
Though newly established, the trio combines a wealth of international experience with its members having performed widely across Europe, Asia and Australia as soloists, chamber musicians and orchestral leaders. Together they bring a distinctive energy and sensitivity to the piano trio repertoire, creating performances marked by depth, clarity and communicative power.
Their programme consists of Piano Trio no.1 op. 70 “Ghost” by Ludwig Van Beethoven, Piano Trio no.3 op. 101 by Johannes Brahms, Piano Trio (1952) by Amo Babadjanian.
The concert takes place at The United Reformed Church, Chapel Street, Thornbury, BS35 2BA on Saturday, February 28th at 7.30 pm. Tickets £25, students £10, under 10s free, by email below. Interval drinks. Profits will be donated to Bristol Aid to Ukraine.
