A Week of Flowers and Music: Come and Sing

St Mary's Church, Thornbury

Starting on September 14th, St Mary's Church are holding an Autumn Festival entitled "A Week of Flowers and Music".

On Sunday, September 14th, there will be a "Come and Sing" event in the church.
Registration is at 11.30am and the rehearsal begins at 12,00 noon. The day ends with an informal concert at 6.00pm. Bring your own lunch, but refreshments will be available during the afternoon.

The flower displays will be open for viewing:
Monday to Thursday 10am-6pm
Friday 10am till lunchtime
Saturday 10am-6pm
Sunday Open for the service at 10.30am, closing at 5pm

On Friday, September 19th there will be a concert given by the outstanding, internationally renowned ensemble "The Gesualdo Six". They are directed by Owain Park, who is a Bristolian and started his musical career as a chorister at St. Mary Redcliffe Church in the city. They have toured extensively throughout the world, receiving wide acclaim for their imaginative programming and impeccable blend. We look forward to a musical treat!
