Festive Illumination Trail at Old Down Country Park

Old Down Estate’s Illumination Trail returns for its fourth year. From 6th–28th December, the Country Park will be transformed into a glowing after-dark spectacle, complete with sparkling light installations, a festive village, and family-friendly activities.
New for 2025, the trail follows a refreshed route with added features, including an illuminated Adventure Park and seasonal market stalls. Visitors can enjoy free marshmallow toasting, free creative activities in the Crafty Cabin, and purchase Old Down’s famous apple crumble, alongside festive food and drink. Dogs are welcome, and Quiet Monday sessions will offer a calmer experience with reduced noise and capacity.
With free parking included, the Illumination Trail offers an unmissable evening of lights, festivities and magical memories for all ages.
