NEW TO THORNBURY! - with Susan Ryrie
These gentle exercises follow a tradition that was developed by Thomas Hanna and described in the book "The Pain Relief Secret" by Sarah Warren.
I was amazed when I first met these exercises. They are the best way that I know of to relieve stiffness and aching, improve posture and movement, and restore correct function to muscles; a very powerful self-help therapy.

The exercises have truly been life-changing for me, and everyone that I have taught them to has expressed surprise at the benefits they have felt.
I will be starting a new group at Turnberrie's on 7th February.
The group will be limited to a maximum of six people so that I can ensure each person is learning the movements correctly.
These are mostly 'floor exercises' and are suitable for all abilities.

I have fifteen years experience helping people with musculoskeletal problems. In addition to teaching Somatic Movement Exercises I am a practicing therapist using Bowen, Emmett and Neurostructural Integration Techniques, and an equine exercise rehabilitation coach.
