Thornbury Fun Palaces
JIGSAW Thornbury
11am-2pm, Thornbury Town Centre
Thornbury will host Fun Palaces across the town centre on Saturday 3 October, with activities spread across venues including St Mary Centre, JIGSAW Thornbury, Thornbury Library, The Pod and The Armstrong.
From steel bands and s’mores making to seasonal crafts and DIY wildflower seed bombs, the programme will offer a community-powered celebration of creativity, with activities designed for people of all ages to get involved in.
Fun Palaces maker Bonnie Rayment, JIGSAW Thornbury, said: “Fun Palaces is always such a community-focused event, with lots of smiles, creativity and fun to be had! For Thornbury, it’s a wonderful opportunity to give something back to the community that supports us throughout the year while also sharing more about the work we do with young people with additional needs or disabilities and their families.
“We work hard to bring together local organisations and providers to create a fun, engaging and inclusive experience for everyone. This year, we’re especially excited by the wide variety of activities on offer, and we hope people of all ages will come along, get involved and enjoy everything the day has to offer.”
