Get ready for a wild, wacky, and wonderfully educational adventure at Berkeley Castle this May half term! In this hands-on workshop, children will meet fascinating creatures like snakes, rats, and frogs while discovering their strange and surprising roles in history.

Did you know that rats were once blamed for spreading the plague? Or that frogs and snakes were believed to have magical powers? Through interactive sessions, our experts will reveal the myths, mysteries, and curious uses of these critters in the past—from medieval medicine to peculiar superstitions.

Perfect for curious minds and animal lovers, this workshop offers a fun and memorable way to connect with history while meeting some incredible real-life critters up close!

Suitable for children of all ages. Don’t miss the chance to experience history with a twist!
