Friends of Filnore Woods Work Morning

We will meet as usual near the tool store by the main wood entrance that's over the field from the Leisure Centre car park corner.
Work mornings are usually from 10am till 12pm on the second Sunday and fourth Wednesday of every month.
W are planting a memorial tree for Jerry Dicker on Sunday. The original intention was to plant it last Saturday but a postponement was necessary because of illness. The new date had to be next Sunday for various reasons, even though it will clash with the work party. After some thought I decided that planting the tree during a work party was actually quite appropriate so that's what we will do. There will be plenty to do before and after the planting time of 11.00am. The path up to the viewpoint is muddy and could do with woodchip in some places and if lots of people attend, the path will get even more churned up.
The weather over the next few days is looking reasonable so it should be dry.
