Lashings are a cricket team made up entirely of current and former international players with the legendary Henry Blofeld providing a live commentary.
The XI will consist of stars of test matches past and present , World Cup, one day internationals and T20 tournaments like the Big Bash and the IPL. In recent years the likes of Curtly Ambrose, Courtney Walsh, Saqlain Mushtaq, Mark Ramprakash, Owais Shah, Ryan Sidebottom and Devon Malcolm have all turned out for Lashings World XI.
The players are all very approachable and the house rule is that they can never refuse an autograph! The format for the day is
11.00: Players begin a coaching academy
12.15: Hospitality lunch guests are called to lunch
16.00: Match begins
19.15: Closing ceremony
Book your table early to avoid disappointment, a table of 10 is £750.
