Fairtrade International Day

Thornbury is a Fairtrade Town and planning to celebrate this day with a Fairtrade event, sponsored by the Town Council, Chamber of Commerce and St Mary Shopping Centre.
A series of gazebos displaying Fairtrade goods and videos of Fairtrade growers will be on display. As well as samples to taste and a fun opportunity to test yourself in a blind tasting, there will be an opportunity to find out where Fairtrade products are on sale across the town, alongside music and short films about the farmers and growers and the challenges they face.
In addition to sellers of Fairtrade, we would very much like the users of Fairtrade goods to support this event, in any way you can!
