11am until 11pm

The programme will begin with a ‘Variety Show’ featuring a wide range of local amateur performers from Thornbury and the surrounding area.

At 2pm, the tribute acts will begin with ‘Absolutely Elton’ performing many of his well-known hits. Elton will be followed by ‘Do it Like Dua’ then ‘Britpop United’, a tribute to all things ‘Madchester’.

‘Funk Odyssey’ will perform a range of ‘70s and ‘80s dance and soul favourites in the early evening.

At 7.45pm, ‘On a Night Like This’ Kylie tribute will be performing the star’s greatest hits.

Finally, headline act ‘Hairforce 5’ will take to the stage with their high energy tribute to rock bands from the
80s.

As well as the main stage entertainment, there will be a Show ‘n’ Shine with a range of vehicles including classic, American, and modern sports.

We’ve also refreshed the Kids Zone while retaining favourites like face painting and balloon modelling and we’re working with Krunch to build on last year’s activities for young people. We are trying to maximise everything we can offer within the ticket price.

Although the committee works really hard to keep costs to a minimum, it costs around £50,000 to put on each year, excluding any staffing because everyone involved in organising the event donates their time free of charge throughout the year and over the weekend. ‘Early Bird’ ticket prices will be announced soon.
