Join us for a delightful Soy Candle Workshop nestled in the rustic charm of the Barn at Old Down Estate. Get hands-on as you craft your very own hand-decorated flower soy wax candle.
You’ll learn the art of candle making with the instructors who will guide you through each step, ensuring you leave with a beautifully crafted candle to take home. Candles made with have around 60 hours of burn time.
You will also learn:
- An overview of the different types of wax in candle making
- About the different fragrance options (essential oils v fragrance oils)
- How to assemble and hand pour your own container candle
- About wick types and how to burn a candle correctly
- How to measure the correct amount of wax, fragrance and dye to use in candles
- The equipment needed for candle making
