Heritage Open Day and Ride and Stride
St Mary's Church, Thornbury
The work in St Mary’s will be continuing but we will still be open for church tower visits and Ride and Stride participants.
St Mary’s church tower will be open for pre-booked tours. Come take a look at the bells and the beautiful vista from the top! There are 133 uneven, large steps to climb and there is no disabled access and all participants must be aged 8+. Please contact the office for more details.
Ride and Stride participants are welcome from 10am. Happy to also confirm that it is planned to provide the usual refreshments stall and MU produce and plant stalls, building work permitting.
St Paul’s Church will also be open from 10am for Ride and Stride visitors. There will also be an afternoon service at 3.30pm once all the walkers reach St Paul’s.
