Thornbury in Bloom Tree Planting Day
We are pleased to let you know that, thanks to Judith Hurford our tree warden, we are able to plant hundreds of native young tree plants to create a hedge on Oakleaze Green.
We have an initial planting day planned for SATURDAY JANUARY 29TH, 10AM - 12 NOON. If the job is not complete then a further day on Friday 4th February is planned.
We have a 70m stretch to plant and volunteers would need to bring their own spade.

This will be a great project and has taken months of planning already - so now we just need some willing hands and feet to help plant. Family groups most welcome.
