Dick Whittington is down on his luck and goes to London to find his fortune, where he has heard the streets are paved in gold. When he arrives, he quickly falls in love with the daughter of a respected shop owner, Alice Fitzwarren, but her father does not bless the match. Meanwhile, a plot is forming, the evil King Rat seeks to take over London.
Dick, and his host of vibrant new friends from the shop, set sail to Morrocco to forge a life-changing deal with the Sultan and Sultana. But with King Rat making numerous attempts to foil their plan, Dick and his friends are shipwrecked in a mysterious new land. Will good triumph over evil and Dick win the day?
