Each year, Thornbury Town Hall takes part in the national Heritage Open Days event, to welcome the public into our building and show you some of its rich history. In 2023, it will be on Saturday 9th September, between 10am and 2pm.

Guided tours of the building are available, with Councillors providing information on the history of the property and its current and former uses. A variety of artefacts of historic interest will be available to view.

The ground and first floors are accessible by wheelchair users via a lift, however, the basement is only accessible by steps. No prebooking is required, you can just turn up! The contact for the day is Cllr Chris Davies – 07711 94 64 60.
