Each year, Thornbury Town Hall takes part in the national Heritage Open Days event, to welcome the public into our building and show you some of its rich history.
Guided tours are available of the building, parts of which are not usually open to the public. Your guide will take you through its previous uses, from a tavern, to a courtroom, to a police station!
Experience being locked in a dark police cell, and view some local, historical artefacts. The building is over three floors, including a large cellar, and has kept a lot of its original features.
