Thornbury in Bloom Community Clean Up Day

Just three days to go to make Thornbury tidy and shining in the best possible light for this year's judging. The weeds everywhere are very bad and there is lots to do.
If you see a weed anywhere, please stop and pull it up!
Remember you are looking for:
- Weeds growing out of the kerbs, weeds growing in the pavement against walls or fences.
- Weeds growing around railings.
- Brambles growing out over the pavement.
- Tree suckers
- Graffiti and litter.
You will need either a hand weeding tool or spade.
Strimmers would be helpful.
Shears
Bags for rubbish.
Our colleagues at the composting site will allow us to take green waste up there at the end of the session. Let us know where you'll be and we'll collect your rubbish.
