CANCELLED - 1st-10th: Severn Vale Art Trail, various locations
The Severn Vale Art Trail (part of the Thornbury Arts Festival) will be showcasing almost 70 artists this year. This popular free event runs from Friday 1st May until Sunday 10th May.
The Trail comprises a number of group exhibitions, together with many individual artists, displaying their work in Thornbury, neighbouring towns and villages in Gloucestershire and South Gloucestershire. Take a break from the Trail and enjoy artwork, coffee or lunch at The Anchor Pub, Morton! Most venues are open from 10am-5pm.
This Art Trail is a wonderful opportunity for the public to access and view the work of established and new artists across the Severn Vale area. Art works range from watercolour and oil paintings to photographic prints, enamel and glass work, jewellery, basket weaving, pottery and wood carving. Visitors have the opportunity to talk with the artists about their work and buy high quality art, at affordable prices.
A free colour brochure, with maps and venue locations, will be available from mid-March at Thornbury Town Hall, numerous other outlets and online.
