Sewing Class Fun for Children, Tytherington
Tue 29th, Wed 30th, Thur 31st October, 10am - 12pm, for ages 7-11.
We are going to have some sewing fun!
There will be a couple of projects the children can choose from in each session. These could be key rings, pincushions, cuddly cushions, stuffed toys, felt badges and more.
Boys and girls can get sewing straight away if they are confident with a needle. However, guidance for others will soon have them sewing their own creations. The more sessions they do then the more skills they learn.
There are many different coloured fabrics, threads and trimmings to design with - also they might even get to use the sewing machine. All materials are provided. Of course they get to bring their projects home because there is nothing more satisfying than a “show and tell”.
Price includes teaching, all the equipment and fabric they need and biscuits/grapes. It is helpful if they bring their own drinks bottle.
Cost: £15 per 2hr session
I have Enhanced DBS certificate, first aid certificate and insurance.
