We are looking for volunteers to help run our breastfeeding groups in Yate (Tuesday 11:30-1) and Thornbury (Tuesday 1-2:30).
Volunteers will offer valued support to existing Peer Support volunteers and Group Coordinators. As a volunteer you will welcome parents and carers to one of the groups, help them settle in and make refreshments.
You will support the breastfeeding support team to take information from families who attend as well as assist with setting up and clearing the room. Your contribution will be invaluable in creating a supportive and nurturing environment for new mothers and carers. The time commitment is approx 2 hours at least fortnightly.
