Great Western Air Ambulance Charity (GWAAC) has a brand new charity shop in Thornbury and we’re looking for volunteers to join our friendly shop team and make a lifesaving difference in the local community!
Many people are unaware that we are a charity and that every year we need to raise over £4 million to stay operational. We receive no day-to-day government funding and rely on our local community to keep the helicopter in the air, so our team can keep saving lives.
Volunteering is open to everyone, no experience is required and you will volunteer alongside a wonderful team of passionate, friendly people! We have a role to suit everyone:
• Serving customers and working the till
• Sorting through donated items and pricing stock
• Creating window and shop displays
• Keeping the shop tidy, clean and well organised
• Encouraging people to support GWAAC!
