We aim to encourage people to use less plastic. To achieve Plastic Free status Thornbury as a town needs quite a few things, one of which is to have 6 local and independent businesses as plastic free business champions. Since 2019, the following businesses have achieved this status:
Bark Raw, Bristol Coffee Co, Calm Nessy, Castle Crafts Gifts, Edith Wilmot Plants, Elite Fitness, Evermore Mortgage Advisers, Foxhills Jewellers, Gems Design and Repair, Hawkes House, Hawkins of Thornbury, Horders Thornbury Press, Jolies Fleurs, Much Loved Earrings, Riddifords, Rosie and Rex gift shop, Safari Rock Softplay Café, Surroundings, T&J Owen Florist and The Swan pub.
