We aim to encourage people to use less plastic. To achieve Plastic Free status Thornbury as a town needs quite a few things, one of which is to have 6 local and independent businesses as plastic free business champions. Since 2019, the following businesses have achieved this status:
Bamsh Digital Marketing, Bark Raw, Bristol Coffee Co, Calm Nessy, Castle Crafts Gifts, Elite Fitness, Evermore Mortgage Advisers, Foxhills Jewellers, Gems Design and Repair, Grange carpets and Curtains Ltd, Hawkes House, Hawkins of Thornbury, Horders Thornbury Press, Much Loved Earrings, Riddifords, Rosie and Rex gift shop, Surroundings, T&J Owen Florist, Thornbury Perk (the café at Thornbury Active Centre) and The Swan pub.
