T'hornblowers Windband

T'hornblowers is a welcoming, friendly, adults-only windband who meet on Wednesday evenings from 7pm in The Studio at Turnberrie's, and we are always on the look-out for new members.
Did you play a wind instrument when you were younger and stopped playing for some reason? Would you like an excuse to get back to playing this once loved instrument? Have you played a brass or woodwind instrument for a while but don’t feel ready for the main music groups and orchestras?

Then T’hornblowers is the perfect place for you to join our friendly group of enthusiastic players. We have flutes, clarinets, saxophones, bassoon, bass clarinets, euphonium, tuba and percussion, but we need more of these and different instruments. We would particularly welcome trumpets and trombones to complete our ensemble.

We play music from all genres; movie themes, classical, pop and are open to suggestion for other types. For more details please contact Turnberrie's Community Centre by phone or email, who will pass your enquiry onto our Music Director.
