Alveston Local History Society arranges talks by experts on local places, historic figures and issues. There is also a social programme of events and trips throughout the year.
Talks are held at 7:30pm on the fourth Wednesday of each month at Alveston Methodist Church. There are no meetings during June, July, August and December. Visitors are welcome - £5 on the door, and we serve refreshments half way through.
