No experience needed — just curiosity!
Our workshops are suitable for families with children aged 5 and up. Children under 9 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Attendance is limited to one adult per family group. Children under 5 years are welcome as part of a family group.
Weds 22nd July - Engineering Fun: All About Hydraulics
11.00 am-1 pm : Build Your Own Hydraulic Lift
Hydraulic machines are used in forklifts to move heavy pallets, in cranes and excavators to move large amounts of each and in aeroplanes to extend wings and lower landing gear. In this hands-on activity, you'll design and build a scissor lift
1.30pm -3.30pm : Learn How Real Robots Work:
Robot arms are becoming increasingly common in industries and everyday life. In this hands-on workshop, you'll explore how they function—and get to develop and build your very own moving robot arm!
