World Day of Prayer
United Reformed Church, Thornbury
The Day of Prayer is now celebrated in over 120 countries, and this years’ service has been prepared by the women of Nigeria.
The theme for reflection is “I will give you rest”, which speaks to our need for peace and solace, drawing on their faith and experiences in a world increasingly filled with struggles and anxieties.
All are welcome for the service and refreshments.
