Inspire your creativity and come join us for a full day workshop learning the craft of roman blind making. In this course Rebecca will share with you all the techniques, stitches and tips from the trade to make your very own roman blind.
You will learn:
- How to make a lined roman blind with no visible stitching.
- An easy way to work out the folds.
- Traditional stitching techniques.
- How to construct and sew your lining with rod pockets.
- Child safety devices.
- How to track and successfully hang your blind.
Class sizes are kept small maximum of 8.
The workshop is designed to feel like an escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and leave you feeling inspired and confident with your newly acquired skills.
All tools and equipment provided. Tea, coffee and treats.
What to bring:
- Please bring with you 1 metre of soft furnishings fabric.
- Your lunch.
