POSTPONED - Thornbury & District U3A Social Morning

I'm sorry to announce that, following a Committee Meeting yesterday, it was decided by a majority to postpone the first of our Tea/Coffee mornings that had been announced in the Winter Newsletter in light of the acceleration of Covid cases with the Omicron variant. The Committee also decided to postpone the Leaders Lunch, planned for the 20th Jan, that was also announced in the Newsletter.
I must apologise to all those who wanted to attend (however we had only received 20 responses to our invite for the morning, out of our 1600 members). We still plan to run these Tea/Coffee mornings and they will probably be rescheduled for March / April unless nature continues to disrupt our attempts to get our u3a socialising again.
