We are a friendly club with Junior and Ladies teams who train from September to April each year for the main hockey season.
Our youth teams range from Under 10’s to Under 16’s who compete in the Avon Junior Hockey League. Juniors aged 13 are then welcome to progress into the ladies teams. Our ladies' league matches usually take place on a Saturday between September and April. We also play in a summer league from May to July.
Please come along and join in a training session to see if you would like to give it a try. We welcome budding hockey players, whether you’re looking for fun and fitness or more competitive match play.
Pop down and play some hockey in an informal and friendly atmosphere, it is a great way of meeting people, improving your fitness and having a laugh. If you haven’t played since school, or ever played at all, it really doesn’t matter. Do not worry if you are nervous about picking up a stick again, cannot remember or don’t know any of the rules. We promise it is nothing like the old school days of muddy pitches and standing around waiting for a touch of the ball. And it’s free.
