Death and Bereavement Café
Memorial Woodlands
A picnic in the grounds of Memorial Woodlands.
Death Cafes are informal gatherings designed to increase awareness of death and help people make the most of their finite lives. They are for people to get together to discuss the end of life, death, bereavement in a friendly, non-judgemental way. This is a group directed discussion where there is no agenda, objectives or themes.
Mireille Hayden of Gentle Dusk, who has been running death cafés for 5 years as well as delivering training and workshops, will be facilitating the discussions. For more information on Death Cafés visit her website www.gentledusk.org.uk
We have limited numbers that can join in the event so people need to pre-book, but we intend to have discussions as we do in any other Death Café. If you or someone you know would like to book onto this event, please click below or telephone: 01454 414 999.
