Fair Trade Fortnight
Christ the King Church Hall, Thornbury
Traidcraft, the supplier of Christ the King's fairtrade goods, has gone into administration. We hope we will soon be able to re-establish our monthly stalls but, for now, we will have to wait to see if any other organisation is willing to step in and buy the company. If a replacement is found, any decision to set up supplies again here would be made in conjunction with the other churches in Thornbury. We hope this can happen, so that we can maintain our fairtrade church status and contribute to that of Thornbury as a fairtrade town.
Fairtrade Fortnight continues as normal, from 27 February until 12 March, so look out for promotions in the shops, but we will not be able to have our fairtrade breakfast as we normally do.
