Thornbury Orchestra Concert
St Mary’s Church, Berkeley
Thornbury's very own symphony orchestra will be holding our next concert on Saturaday 11th June, 7.30pm at St Mary's Church Berkeley.
The concert is in aid of SARA (The Severn Area Rescue Association) and we will be playing a selection of 'water themed' music including Tchaikovsky's 'Swan Lake', Smetana's 'Vltava', Vaughan Williams' 'In the Fen Country' and Dvorak's 'The Water Goblin'. We are very much looking forward to performing in Berkeley and raising money for a great local charithy. In addition, the orchestra are always keen to hear from new players (Grade 7+) who would like to join us, details on the the website.
