Thornbury Local History and Archaeology Society on Zoom

During the uncertainty caused by the Coronavirus pandemic the Society is not holding meetings at St Mary’s Hall but Zooming their meetings free of charge! 

The February talk is ‘A History of Death in our Society’ by Dr. Helen Frisby.

The March talk, on Tuesday the 9th at 7:30, is on ‘the Berkeley Poaching Affray of 1816’ and ‘the impact of Thornbury Station’ by winners of our school essay competition.
