1914-18: Village Life during the Great War
Cossham Hall, Thornbury
Local historian, Rose Hewlett, will reveal what life was like in the villages of the Berkeley Vale during the first two decades of the twentieth century. Although the focus of her talk will be on Frampton on Severn during the First World War, all the local communities were sharing similar experiences, some more serious than others.
