South Gloucestershire’s Armed Forces Day

A veterans’ parade through Thornbury featuring marching bands and military vehicles will kick off South Gloucestershire’s celebrations of Armed Forces Day (AFD).
After the parade there will be performances, stalls and activities for all the family on the Chantry Field.
As well as celebrating the contribution of serving personnel, Armed Forces Day aims to highlight the contribution that ex-service personnel bring to their communities, including the valuable transferable skills they bring from their service careers.
